Will Scream 4 be better than Scream 3 and why was Scream 3 so unpopular?

I loved it, it wasn't very original obviously, but I thought it ended the trilogy well. Would have liked to have seen more of Sidney though, but I thought Parker Posey was great in Scream 3, made it hilarious to watch.
