Why can't people stop talking about the Posey incident?

How is posey close to becoming a Pudge Rodriquez type of player? Pudge is a first ballot hall of famer and posey had a good rookie year...He is an important part of the giants, but giant fans in general are a bit immature about the incident. Things happen...we shouldnt ban head first sliding because a herione addict in texas breaks his hand...we shouldnt ban hitting the catcher because a freak accident hurt the golden boy in SF. The real issue is the death threats that cousins is facing and the fact that the sf gm called him out today...and that posey didnt return a call by cousins wishing him well and describing no malicious intent. What a bunch of crybabies.
