Winject issue with Maplestory?

I downloaded winject and its in my C: drive . i open up ms so that the big screen thingy appears, then i try to boot up winject and it says that WInject.exe is not a valid win32 application. the program has its picture by it, but after i click it i have to click run. It says its an unknown publisher. Help.
